Our tourniquet has made it to space
Released in partnership between NASA and ESA, the 3-minute clip features timelapse footage of Earth shot by ESA astronaut Alexander Gerst, alongside video of scientific experiments performed on board. It is shown (01:38 min.) how blood is collected with the help of our tourniquet to determine the changes taking place in crew members’ immune systems during flight.
